Mermaid Necklaces made from vintage, repurposed beads and findings mixed with contemporary items. 

I inherited some of my Grandmother’s Vintage Jewelry. There were several beaded necklaces and bracelets. They were a bit outdated for me to wear so I deconstructed them and organized them to create new pieces. I had several pendants and broken necklaces that I loved but wanted to “fancy”  so I could wear when mermaiding. I found that I LOVE organizing beads and putting them together in fun ways. This lead me to creating some of my own pendants and acquiring more Vintage/Estate Jewelry to deconstruct (on top of purchasing new unique/interesting beads that catch my eye). As I continue to make these creations, I’ve chosen to share them with more than just my close Mermaid friends. I’m happy to announce the opening of Fin’s Frills by Mermaid Aerial Princess. (Fin is my MerPup who chases the beads I drop and sleeps at my feet.)
